@ATouchOfMagic88 it’s probably one of the better things a girl can learn actually The point of “womens self defense” is to help you protect yourself, so what better way to do so then learning something brutal like this, where it doesn’t matter if you’re stronger then the opponent, you hit vital points and you don’t stop till they’re not moving ^_^
I’ve seen gun disarmings before, and have always had one question.. Couldn’t it be dangerous if he fires while your hand is on top? If you’re trying to grab and pull and he shoots, would your hand be caught in any of the moving parts? This question has nothing to do with speed or not being shot, but simply about what would happen with your hand connecting the gun.
Lol! Gun disarm. Only useful if they’re stupid enough to come close enough to you and put their gun to your chest. One foot away and this technique is no good. Natural trigger pulling instinct.
There is no handgun bullet that I am aware of and very few rifle bullets that move at 4000 feet per second. The 357 magnum, one of the fastest moving handgun bullets around tops out at around 1600 feet per second. The 223 or 5.56×45mm NATO round fired from the M4 or M16 tops out somewhere in the neighborhood of 3100 feet per second. Obviously I’m splitting hairs a bit – this is still way faster than a human can react – but nowhere near the 4000 fps that Jason claims in the gun disarm sequence.
@DoomFist94 Yes I have trained KM, not in rifle and bayonet aspect, but seeing as how most of the weight would have to lie between the hands for many of these jabbing techniques (bullpup is all to one side) I would say many of these techniques would work with it (the tavor).
But then again the subject is not KM, its the tavor (firearms), which is something you wouldnt have the faintest idea about, being from the UK.
