If you voted for either Obama or McCain, you are too gullible to be entrusted with the vote. You should voluntarily refrain from voting in any future elections until you have developed the appropriate high level of skepticism.
This disappoints me Obama gave me hope, but now after the bank bailouts caused by geichner, capital hill laughing at passing a bill about legalizing marijuana, and now just lying to us get this guy out of office we need a leader not another bush with a tan.
I have always been fiscaly conservative and socially liberal. That made me a Republican until Reagon destroyed any sense of budget control and he went to extremes in the social sense. When Bush Sr. picked an idiot to be 2nd in line to the presidentcy, I changed my party affiliation. Bill Clinton turned out to be every thing I wanted in a president and after 95 the Republicans lost me. After the Supreme court gave us Bush I got sick. Obama made me feel better until now.Now I am sick, Again!
conservatism is by definition backwards thinking. and its a well established fact that the less intelligent you are and the less educated, the more conservative your beliefs
Just goes to show you that Wisconsin is absolutely the shit. Not our conservatives, god no. But, conservatives are shit everywhere. Our liberals are gold, however.
@cgordon6969. That’s right, liberals like to be called progressives now. haha. Could anything be more opposite?
You rest your case on a losing arguement. Good one. Remind me not to hire you as my lawyer! I never mentioned a politcal party in any of my posts. If you think I am a republican you would be very wrong, again. I have not spent any tax dollars on anything, politicians have. Many liberals voted for the War. So again or still you are wrong. Can you at least try to get something right?
@aSingleDallasGuy I rest my case!! Your reasoning is beyond me. And please don’t call me a liberal cause I’m no such thing. You people put party, and your own personal beliefs before PEOPLE! So, go spend all your tax dollars on war and have those same people that pay taxes become bankrupt from their health bills. Your priorities are screwed.
Let’s just forget about our differences of race, government, country and think about the holidays and baby jesus merry christmas can i get a hug from you? Please?
@emilm91 …. That’s great for Norway! We Americans are proud we are not England, France…. Norway, etc….. We kinda have done things our way very successfully for 200+ years to which in most things we lead the world in. So, it’s great the small Homogenized village like Norway has a good govt and people who are all harmonious. America is a wee bit different and we have need to emulate anyone. Now American liberals? Yeah they love our govt too. Even though our govt cant even balance a budget.
@drauglintuor …. hahaha… the old joke on youtube is when you kick someone’s butt, expect they will come back to you with a spelling or grammar mistake! Right on queue…. Good job! hahaha
@cgordon6969 …. Good grief! Whether you believe it or not it was felt at the time to include many liberals that going to war with Iraq was in the nation’s security interest. That is a far cry from national healthcare! Debating liberals is like shooting fish in a barrel. It’s really unfair because you are so emotional about your beliefs that you can’t grasp the very simple logical failings in them. Here you are comparing national security against a liberal agenda of national healthcare. hahaha
@Trickndel …. So you think because of your insecurity, I should pay higher taxes? This is socialism pure and simple. In America we have traditionally been much more independent of such old European ideas like this. In fact that’s the basis of our founding. To leave us alone and let us live our OWN lives. Certainly nothing in our constitution supports your ideas and beliefs. Typical liberal BS that thinks the govt should force us to pay for other people’s failings. Screw off and leave me alone!
I’m not trying to justify ot NOT justify the Iraq war. We can have that debate all day. All I’m saying is that they NEVER mentioned or was concerned about the cost of the war to taxpayers. Where was their outrage then? It’s hypocritical now to come in my face and complain about the cost of healthcare reform to the taxpayer!
@aSingleDallasGuy. I pay for others “stuff” and in return I pay for a system of higher security, not “a gamle on the future”. And I know with my self that if something happens with my health, there is never a rejection, cause I did my share of work. 40%+ taxes is high, but it means you can live comfortably. You should take a look at the theories of Abraham Maslow, about need of safety. I think ultimately insurance tend to break down that part of the pyramid steadily with many regulations..
this sounds just like CNN/ABC/NBC regurgitation to me. You have no proof to back up any of these claims besides what you’ve heard on the news. Its not worth arguing over but whether these people are right or wrong they are doing more than most ppl do by standing up for what they believe in whatever that may be.
In norway we can pay up to 50% taxes, and yet we are able to live comfortably with a very low poverty rate with a health care that you would call socialist. It’s just that we give our money to the government who work to provide care for us instead of some fat CEO of a insurance company whos job it is to rob me of what im entitled to to save money.
@drauglintuor … Allow me to be the bearer of bad news since you don’t know anything about the socialist country you supposedly live in.
Some Canadiens pay as much as 46% taxes. Others less but my point has been made. If you REALLY are Canadien you should know this. Or maybe you are just another left wing nut job American trying to pretend he is someone who is isn’t in a feable attempt to make a point. Either way you are wrong!
